configure

Hi where do you go to check on compile errors. I entered ./configure 
on my FreeBSD 4.2 and get "error code 71" & "error code 1" the 71
relates to;

/usr/bin/install -c -s conserver /usr/local/sbin
install: conserver: no such file or directory; and I see the dir right
in the Conserver-7.0.1/ dir.
