consoling into a cisco router

I'm trying to do password recovery on a cisco router.  I'm using a MacOS X
laptop w/ conserver running, have a homegrown console cable that works (I
can get into cisco routers and do stuff), but I can't figure out what the
correct break sequence is so that I can reset the config register.

Any suggestions out there?
